And food products from cloned animals are knocking on the doors to enter the food supply chain. It’s not only about genetically modified food; usage of technology has seen concepts like food irradiation that have stormed into our nutritional chain. Today, radiation is used to restore hygiene in the food products. Radiations like X-rays, gamma rays and electron beams are used to disinfect food products like meat & other food products.
